というプログラムがこの秋から開講されます(されました). 今となっては一般的ですが, Stanfordの授業はオンラインで見ることができます. それを利用してAAのMasterをオンラインで授業を見ながら取得できますよ-, とのこと. 忙しくプロとして活躍する人達のための通信教育なり. Industryで働きながら取らせるのが目的らしい.

Masterって以前に触れたように論文は不要で授業の単位だけで, 最短9ヶ月で取れるのでわざわざ学校へ来なくてもいいんですよね. 宿題や回答は全てwebで入手できますし, 試験の提出はPDFやFAXでOK. キャンパスライフとは無縁になりますが可能です.

THE PROGRAM

Stanford University's Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AA) is offering the degree of master of science in aeronautics and astronautics to industry students completely at a distance beginning in autumn 2005. All courses are taught by Stanford faculty and delivered online worldwide by the Stanford Center for Professional Development (SCPD).

WHO SHOULD APPLY

Engineers with undergraduate degrees in aeronautics and astronautics and mechanical engineering working in aerospace, defense, and aircraft manufacturing industries.
